Leslie Karmazinuk is a distinguished healthcare professional and executive coach with a proven track record of empowering leaders to unlock their potential and drive meaningful change within their organizations. With over eight years of experience mentoring and coaching over 500 leaders and executives, Leslie combines her extensive knowledge of healthcare systems with her passion for leadership development, making her the ideal coach for executives in the healthcare sector.
A pioneering nursing researcher, she played a crucial role in groundbreaking research on HIV, contributing to the discovery of the retrovirus and overseeing significant studies focused on patient safety and fall prevention in long-term care settings. Her leadership experience includes senior roles as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations, where she oversaw up to 2,400 clients across 24 care facilities, showcasing exceptional operational efficiency and strategic planning skills. Leslie has also demonstrated her project management expertise by successfully leading major initiatives, including the proposal and planning for nine new care home builds and six significant renovations in British Columbia.
Renowned for fostering positive workplace cultures, Leslie excels as a culture creator and team builder dedicated to nurturing high-performing teams. As a hospital educator, she specialized in advanced wound care, dementia, and patient-focused care, developing and accrediting a care aide and LPN training program through PCTIA. Her financial acumen, proven in financial analysis and revenue diversification through strategic service development, enables organizations to thrive in competitive environments.
Leslie’s resilience in the face of personal challenges is as remarkable as her professional achievements. She has bravely battled cancer three times and given three months to live, faced the unimaginable loss of her husband, had bilateral forefoot amputations, and endured the devastating impact of a tree falling through her home, causing over $500,000 in damages. Yet, despite these trials, she continues to rise with unwavering strength and grace. Her journey of overcoming adversity has not only deepened her empathy but has also enriched her coaching practice, allowing her to inspire others to embrace their struggles and transform them into opportunities for growth.

Kristen Karmazinuk, PMP
Kristen Karmazinuk has a diverse background across various industries, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise from running a sole proprietorship to managing a bilingual team in the corporate world. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with distinction in project management from one of Canada’s top private universities, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and is pursuing the Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) designation with the Project Management Institute and the Certified Change Practitioner designation with Prosci. Kristen has a solid foundation in project planning, execution, and change management, having managed multiple projects of various scales.
After graduating and preparing for her PMP Exam, Kristen was invited to coach students in the United States as part of a well-established PMP Prep program. Noticing gaps between the academic knowledge taught at university and the content covered on the PMP Exam, she began coaching students one-on-one who were facing similar confidence challenges. As more students sought her guidance, Kristen collaborated with Yorkville alum Vippansingh Lalat to develop a comprehensive program designed to help them navigate these obstacles, improve their quiz and mock exam performance, and provide support through live group coaching sessions. To date, Kristen has successfully supported over 50 individuals in building their confidence, enhancing their knowledge, and passing the PMP Exam.

Kristen's background extends to corporate security, risk management, aviation, entertainment, and event management, including as a Project Manager for Informa Connect, the largest events management company in the world. She has excelled in managing complex projects across Canada, working with high-net-worth clients and overseeing speaker and sponsor management, and venue logistics. Her strategic thinking and ability to deliver results have been key to navigating the demands of high-stakes environments, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.
Kristen’s diverse background has honed her team leadership and strategic planning skills, making her adept at driving projects to completion while aligning them with organizational goals. Her experience has equipped her with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, leveraging her insights to meet their unique needs and exceed expectations. This experience has also provided her with a unique perspective on managing teams, including hiring, firing, motivating, and disciplining a bilingual team. Kristen is skilled in enhancing corporate culture and successfully guiding her team through multiple organizational changes.
Kristen’s strength lies in her ability to analyze companies facing challenges by assessing their mission, vision, and values, setting complex goals, and aligning strategic initiatives with the company’s direction, all while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Her strong vision and strategic thinking instill confidence in businesses as she coaches them. Currently, Kristen oversees the backend operations, IT, marketing, and administration of Karma Coaching Insights, supporting the coaching and consulting services and ensuring operational efficiency.

Holding a strong foundation in Project Management from a top Canadian university, Vippan is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) who excels in transforming complex concepts into manageable learning experiences. In collaboration with Kristen Karmazinuk, Vippan co-developed a comprehensive PMP exam prep program tailored to meet the needs of aspiring project managers.
Currently pursuing his PL-300 Power BI Analyst certification, Vippan is committed to continuously expanding his knowledge and skills. His ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships makes him an asset in the realm of exam preparation.
